Raw Material
EN26: It is a high-strength steel that follows the BS970 standard. Its chemical composition mainly includes carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, etc. The carbon content is 0.36-0.44%, the nickel content is 2.30-2.80%, and the molybdenum content is 0.45-0.65%. After quenching and tempering treatment, the tensile strength is ≥ 930MPa and the yield strength is ≥ 725MPa, suitable for applications such as high-strength shafts, bolts and nuts, gears, etc.
EN36: It is a low-alloy steel. The common EN36 steel has a carbon content between 0.30-0.40% and contains alloying elements such as manganese, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. It has the characteristics of high strength, good toughness, and excellent hardenability. After quenching and tempering treatment, the tensile strength is 930-1080 MPa and the yield strength is 670-880 MPa. EN36 steel is suitable for manufacturing high-strength parts such as shafts, gears, bolts, nuts, etc.
Application
