The Torturer

After a full day's work
The torturer
Commutes home
Kisses his chubby wife
    and doe-eyed children
And sits down to supper

On their plates are
Sleepless eyes
Electrocuted genitals
And oozing, bruised flesh
But nobody minds -
Tomorrow Uncle Sam and his Best Friends
Are sending a Trade Delegation
There will be smiles all round
And mutual signatures
